CCN
…(CCN) is a two-way, interactive video network which links the community and junior college sites in the State of Mississippi Each Community College Network site is installed with television monitors, cameras, and microphones. Sites are configured into “conferences” at a central switching point which is located in Jackson, Mississippi. Participating sites can see and hear one another in a completely interactive environment. Mississippi’s community and junior colleges use the CCN to deliver credit coursework, non-credit instruction, staff development, workforce training, and to conduct administrative meetings.
Using the CCN
The chart below lists the videoconference sites in the network. If you would like to schedule an event using the CCN, please select the videoconference site nearest you. Your chosen site will serve as your sponsor site. Contact the site manger listed for specific information on schedules, usage fees, and procedures for scheduling your event.
